Dear all,
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting each one of us and the communities we live in differently.
I am proud of and grateful to our colleagues who have effectively and quickly mobilized to help our communities and industry to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. Our safety team has been monitoring the situation since late February and acting quickly using guidance from the related local authorities. Our General Managers and Team leaders are making quick decisions to ensure the continuity of our mission as an essential business in order to continue supporting the food and health industries in our region.
It has been a month now since many of us are working from home. It’s imperative to note that the first pillar of our TEQI strategy is Technology and it is certainly paying off now, as all what it took from all of us was to carry our laptops home and continue working on platforms created and deployed by our IT and Business excellence teams two years ago. All these efforts and hard work contributed to the current positive state. While many companies from different sectors are investing substantial amount in technology right now due to the current disruption, Al Bayader International was resilient and flexible enough to shift smoothly and safely to work-from-home mode while maintaining the same level of service to our customers and business partners.
Their tireless efforts embody the best of our culture, going above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers and clients. While our own lives have been impacted by this pandemic, we are committed to doing our jobs to the utmost of our abilities. We thank you for your ongoing partnership and are proud to be a part of the solution.
We are in this together and are doing our best to uphold this success to get through this very challenging period stronger and more experienced than ever before. Our employees are the most valuable assets in the company and your health and safety is a priority to us. We are so proud of you for keeping your spirits high and for doing your job from home while protecting your families. Of course, we are also thankful to our colleagues who continue working on site each day to ensure the supply of our essential products and services across the market.
And eventually we would like to show our gratefulness to the healthcare professionals on the front lines who are fighting to contain the virus and help those in need. They are the real heroes!
In these hard times we need to stay united and believe that the sun will rise again. We certainly trust in you and Al Bayader International to make it through this tough crisis.
Be safe and take care.
